Description
(60% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 7% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot; 13.5% alcohol) Very deep ruby-purple color. Raspberry, smoke and a whiff of floral red cherry on the nose. Juicy, intense and almost sweet, with a lightly minty quality to the rich red fruit flavors. Nicely delicate, lively Pessac-Leognan, with a texture that’s more Burgundian than Bordeaux-like—at least at this stage of its development. The fresh finish features very good balance, smooth tannins and subtle length.
